Dad, 57, Dies After Brutal Attack in Monmouthshire Village

Matthew Oubridge, 57, was found unconscious in Trellech, near Monmouth, at around 8.40pm on Saturday, December 4. Paramedics rushed to the scene after reports of a “serious assault” but sadly, the Chepstow man was confirmed dead.

Man Arrested and Freed on Bail in Murder Probe

A 40-year-old man from the bristol/" title="Bristol" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bristol area was arrested on suspicion of murder following the attack. He has since been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
