Just after 2.30am on Thursday, December 23, Kent Police sprang into action following an alarm at an industrial site on Water Lane, Faversham.

Suspicious Van Fleeing Scene

Responding officers spotted a van speeding away nearby. When they turned their patrol car around, the vehicle accelerated but was forced to stop on 1 Road around 2.50am.

Tools and Trouble Found

A search uncovered heavy-duty tools and hydraulic cutting gear, sparking suspicions of a planned heist. Meanwhile, police learned cabling had been damaged at a nearby industrial site.

Two Arrested, Investigation Ongoing

Two men, aged 27 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of attempted theft, possessing burglary tools, and criminal damage. Both remain in custody as Kent Police continue their probe.
