North West London Man Charged with Murder After Bushey Knife Attack
Man Dies Following Late-Night Stabbing at Turkish Restaurant
Dequarn Williams, 25, from Cricklewood, Brent, is now in police custody charged with murder. The charge comes after a stabbing at Vu Lounge, a Turkish restaurant in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
Police rushed to the scene around 11:30pm on Saturday, November 29, after reports of a fight. A man in his 30s was found critically injured and was rushed to hospital.
Hertfordshire Police confirmed on December 4 that the victim had died. His identity has not yet been released.
Police Tight-Lipped but Confirm No Wider Threat
Detective Inspector Lee Martin, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said:
“My thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this tragic time. I know this incident will have caused significant concern among the local community.”
He added: “Our investigation is moving at pace. A man has been charged with murder and remanded in custody. We believe this is an isolated incident, and there is no risk to the wider public.”
