Man Killed in Horror Brixton Hit-and-Run

A man has died after being struck by a car this morning on Brixton Road, near the busy Acre Lane and Coldharbour Lane junction. The tragic crash happened early Monday, February 6.

Emergency Crews Unable to Save Victim

Paramedics arrived at 9.37 a.m. but sadly pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The victim’s identity and further details have not yet been released.

Road Closures and Police Appeal

Brixton Road remains shut in both directions as emergency teams work on the scene. The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the fatal collision.

Officers have urged anyone with footage of the crash not to share it online. “Please contact us if you have any information,” a spokesperson said, referencing incident number 1725/06FEB23.
