Hit-and-Run Horror in Southport!

Merseyside Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a serious crash on Lord Street, Southport. The shocking smash happened near Barclays Bank on Friday, September 22, between 2 and 3pm.

Pedestrian Left Unconscious with Broken Leg

A man in his 40s was hit by a white BMW while crossing the road. The driver sped off, leaving the victim unconscious and seriously injured with a broken leg.

Inspector Emma Haffenden slammed the cowardly driver for fleeing the scene. She vowed the force is determined to track down both the culprit and the white BMW.

Police Plea: Witnesses Urged to Step Forward

Officers want anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam or CCTV footage from Lord Street on that afternoon to come forward.
