Two Arrested After Late-Night Burglary in Sittingbourne
Kent Police swooped at 1.30am on Tuesday, June 18, after reports of intruders at a Cedar Close home in Sittingbourne. The burglars were disturbed during their break-in, sparking a swift police response.
Stolen Goods Found Near Scene
Officers scoured the area and recovered several suspected stolen items, including bank cards and car keys, close to the property.
Man and Teen Held but Later Released
At around 2.30am, a 42-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy, both local residents, were stopped on Dale Street and arrested on suspicion of burglary. They were later released pending further investigation.
