Man Found Dead in Moselle Avenue Flat – Murder Probe Underway

Police were called just before 10pm on Friday, 20 September, following concerns for a man inside a flat on Moselle Avenue, N22. Officers forced entry and discovered the 40-year-old victim, Marvin Dixon, deceased.

Blunt Force Trauma Cause of Death

Specialist detectives from the Crime Command launched a murder investigation. A post-mortem on Sunday, 22 September, revealed Dixon died from blunt force trauma.

On the same day, a 36-year-old man was arrested in Edmonton on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a north London police station.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detective Chief Inspector Neil John said: “We want to hear from anyone who has been to the flat recently or knows the occupants. If you saw anything suspicious in the area or can shed light on who entered the property, please get in touch.”

Chief Inspector Lee Mckean added: “We understand the community’s concerns. Additional officers will be patrolling locally to offer support. Anyone with information or worries should contact the police.”
