Two men killed in horror A272 crash near Winchester last month have been named as Anthony Leech, 70, and Stephen Skilton, 61. Both were passengers in a black Ford Fiesta that collided with a white Audi near Cheesefoot Head just before 12.30pm on January 30.
Tragic Loss for Families and Friends
Anthony Leech’s family paid an emotional tribute, calling him “a loving brother and uncle” and “one of the world’s most genuine guys, tragically taken too soon.”

Stephen Skilton’s loved ones described him as “a loving partner to Jackie, a loyal son, brother, uncle and friend.” They said he “will be sadly missed by so many,” including relatives, colleagues, army friends, and neighbours.
“He will be remembered for his honesty, consideration, and sense of humour. A loving character, the world is a poorer place without him. He will be loved forever and always.”
Investigation Underway, Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
Specialist officers are supporting the bereaved families while police continue their investigation into the crash’s cause. They urge anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch.
