Hit-and-Run Shocker: Four-Year-Old Boy Struck on Bexhill Road

Sussex Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a four-year-old boy was hit on the B2182 Holliers Hill, Bexhill-on-Sea, at around 3pm on Monday, 1 July.

The driver sped off without leaving details, leaving the boy’s father stunned. The youngster suffered a cut to his head and bruises and was rushed to Conquest Hospital in St Leonards-on-Sea for treatment and observation.

Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

PC Richard Trundle from Sussex roads policing urged anyone who saw the crash to come forward. He said:

“We are keen to speak to the driver and several witnesses believed to have been present. Anyone with mobile phone, CCTV or dash-cam footage of the incident is also urged to get in touch.”
