Police hunt suspect caught on camera after bus sexual assault between Gravesend and Dartford
Shocking attack on 480 bus
Police have released a computer-generated image of a man they want to identify over a sexual assault on a bus travelling between Gravesend and Dartford. The incident happened at around 5pm on Tuesday, 25 February 2025, on the 480 bus service.
A woman was touched over her clothing and subjected to lewd comments by an unknown man before he got off the bus.
What the suspect looks like
- Speaks with a foreign accent
- Wore a dark raincoat and blue jeans
- Carried a rucksack, a can of beer, and a plastic carrier bag with more cans inside
Kent Police examined CCTV footage along the bus route and produced a composite image of the man to help with the investigation.
Police issue urgent appeal
“We are keen to hear from anyone who was on the bus at the time of the incident or who may recognise the man in the image. Any information, no matter how small, could help progress the investigation.”
Officers want witnesses to come forward and urge anyone with info to contact them immediately.
