72-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Mays Road Fire
Emergency services rushed to Mays Road shortly after 1am following reports of a fire. Inside, they discovered Carole Harrison, 72, deceased. She lived at the address and her next of kin have been notified.
No Cause of Death Yet as Forensics Work Underway
A post-mortem was carried out the next day at Kingston Mortuary, but detectives are still waiting on forensic results. The exact cause of death remains unknown.
54-Year-Old Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder
Police arrested a 54-year-old man at 3.30pm on Saturday, 25 August. He was taken to a central London police station and has now been bailed until mid-September pending further inquiries.
