Man Arrested in Major Calne Drug Raid
A man in his 20s was arrested last week after police raided a property on London Road, Calne, uncovering a significant haul of Class A and B drugs.
Drugs and Weapons Seized During Raids
Officers executed a warrant on Friday, June 28, discovering suspected drugs inside the home. The suspect was taken into custody for alleged supply of Class A drugs, possession of Class B drugs, and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
In addition to the drugs, police seized valuable items including designer trainers and bicycles under the Proceeds of Crime Act, linking them to criminal activity.
Investigation Ongoing as Suspect Released on Bail
The man has since been released on bail while detectives continue their inquiries. Wiltshire Police urged locals to help by reporting any information about drug activity in the area.
“Our officers are committed to tackling drug-related crime and protecting our communities,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said. “The seizure of these items and the arrest demonstrate our ongoing efforts to disrupt criminal activity.”
