Man Dies After Horrific Hit-And-Run Near Wood Green Station
A man tragically lost his life after being struck by a car near Wood Green Underground Station on Saturday afternoon.
Deadly Collision Shakes High Road, N22
Police were called to High Road, N22, at around 4:34pm on 12 October following reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
Emergency services including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene. Despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity remains unknown as officers work to inform his next of kin.
Driver Arrested Over Dangerous Driving Causing Death
The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. An investigation is now underway.
