Man in 20s fights for life after terrifying vehicle jump in Edmonton

Early morning horror on Fore Street

A man in his 20s is fighting for his life after leaping from a moving vehicle on Fore Street, Edmonton, at around 2am this Saturday, July 22. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a man suffering serious head injuries.

Critical condition at hospital

Paramedics swiftly took the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. Police say the vehicle sped off after the incident, and no arrests have been made so far.

Police hunt witnesses as investigation ongoing

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called at approximately 2.10am to reports of a man suffering head injuries in Fore Street, Edmonton, N18. The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition. We believe he jumped from a moving vehicle which then left the scene. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”

The Met is urging anyone who saw the incident or has information to call 101 or tweet @MetCC, quoting CAD795/22Jul. Information can also be given anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
