Tragedy struck early Wednesday morning at St German’s Place, southeast London, when police were called at 7:30am after reports of an unresponsive man.

Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service arrived promptly and performed first aid on the man, believed to be in his 20s. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead an hour later at 8:30am.
