A Met Police officer was rushed to hospital with facial injuries after a nasty scrap on Bancroft Road, Bethnal Green, E1. The drama unfolded at 6:50pm when officers spotted a violent fight and stepped in to break it up. During the chaos, one officer was attacked and needed medical attention.
Three Arrested Amid Street Violence
Police have arrested three suspects on serious charges, including assaulting an emergency worker and carrying a bladed article. All three are now in custody at an East London police station, where they remain held as officers continue their investigation.
