Woman Slashed in North London Park
Police rushed to Lordship Lane Recreation Ground, N17, at 10.05pm on Wednesday, 18 May after reports of an assault.
Officers found a 43-year-old woman with slash wounds. She was treated on scene by Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance crews before being taken to an east London hospital.
Thankfully, her injuries are described as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Crime Scene Locked Down, Investigation Ongoing
Police have set up a crime scene at the park and launched an investigation. No arrests have been made yet.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers want anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious around the time of the attack to call 101, quoting reference 8253/18MAY.
