Man Arrested After Stabbing in Cowes

Police have arrested a suspect following a stabbing in Cowes in the early hours of Tuesday, 24 July.

Victim Stabbed Twice in the Back

At around 12:30am, officers were called to the area near Love Lane and Windmill Close after an 18-year-old local man was found with two stab wounds to his back.

The victim was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital. His injuries are serious but not life-threatening. He remains in hospital receiving treatment.

Suspect in Custody

A 23-year-old man from Carisbrooke has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He is currently held in custody as police continue investigations.
