A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in West Wickham on Wednesday afternoon.
Teen Stabbed Near West Wickham High Street
The attack took place on Ravenswood Avenue at 4.30pm on November 26. Police and paramedics were quickly on the scene following reports of the stabbing.
Victim’s Injuries Non-Life Threatening
The Metropolitan Police confirmed two days later that the boy’s injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. He received treatment from the London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
No Arrests Yet in West Wickham Stabbing
Investigations are underway, but no suspects have been arrested. A police cordon was spotted near Station Road shortly after the attack.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, 26 November at 16:32hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing on Ravenswood Avenue, West Wickham. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 17-year-old boy before taking him to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
