Man Knocked Out in Brutal Bircotes Attack
Police rushed to Droversdale Road, Bircotes, just before 1.30pm on Saturday 18 March after reports that a man had been knocked unconscious in a vicious assault.
Victim Suffers Head Wounds and Broken Cheek
The victim was left needing stitches for a head injury and suffered a fractured cheekbone. Emergency services took him to hospital where he received treatment.
Cops Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
PC Jon Evans of Nottinghamshire Police said: “This was a nasty assault that resulted in a man suffering head injuries and needing to go to hospital. We’re carrying out CCTV checks and speaking to locals, but we need the public’s help.
“It happened when many people were likely nearby, so if you saw anything, please come forward. Thankfully, the injuries weren’t worse, but we are determined to find those responsible.”
