Tragic Crash on M25 Claims Woman’s Life
Emergency crews were scrambled to the M25 clockwise between Junction 11 and Junction 12 near Chertsey just before 2pm on 4 April following reports of a major collision.
Multiple Vehicles Involved
The smash involved a heavy goods vehicle (HGV), two vans, and a car. The driver of the car, a woman in her 70s, was rushed to hospital but tragically died. Her next of kin have been informed.
Motorway Delays and Police Appeal
The motorway remained partially closed for several hours, causing disruption to motorists.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward. “If you have any information which could help, please call Surrey Police on 101 quoting incident reference PR/P22070020,” a spokesperson said.
