Tragedy on M25: Woman Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash
Disaster struck the M25 near Chertsey this afternoon. Just before 2pm on April 4, police rushed to a serious collision on the clockwise carriageway between Junctions 11 and 12.
HGV, Vans and Car Involved
The smash involved a heavy goods vehicle, two vans, and a car. The driver of the car, a woman in her 70s, was rushed to hospital but sadly later died. Her next of kin have been informed.
M25 Partially Shut for Hours
Authorities closed part of the motorway for several hours as they dealt with the aftermath. Traffic chaos ensued across the busy route.
