Murder Probe Underway After Woman Found Dead in Cowley
Police launched a murder investigation after a 35-year-old woman was found dead inside a Cowley home early this morning.
Man Seriously Injured at Lytton Road Address
Officers were called to Lytton Road at 5.11am on June 17. They discovered the deceased woman and a 45-year-old man with serious injuries. The man was rushed to hospital and remains there in a critical condition.
Police Appeal for Witnesses as Investigation Continues
Detective Superintendent Ian Hunter, head of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: “We continue to investigate the circumstances of this incident and are in the early stages. At this time, we believe this to be an isolated incident and are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.”
A heavy police presence remains on the scene as inquiries continue.
