Man, 24, Stabbed in West Derby – Three Arrested in Violent Attack
Stabbing Shocks Carr Lane East
At around 6.30pm, police were called to Carr Lane East after reports of a stabbing. A 24-year-old man was found with serious chest and leg injuries. He was rushed to hospital where his condition remains critical.
Three Arrested in Connection
Police have detained a 44-year-old man from Liverpool, suspecting him of attempted murder. Two women from Liverpool, aged 46 and 49, were also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and section 18 wounding with intent. All three remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
Major Investigation Underway
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “We’re at the early stages of investigating a violent altercation at an address on Carr Lane East which left a man stabbed. Three suspects are in custody, but the investigation is ongoing.”
Officers are conducting forensic work, reviewing CCTV, and speaking to witnesses and residents. They urge anyone with information, including dash cam footage, to come forward.
