Teen Arrested After 14-Year-Old Jermaine Cools Stabbed to Death in Croydon
16-Year-Old Held Over Murder
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday, 27 December. He remains in custody at a south London police station as the investigation continues.
Fight Leads to Tragedy Outside West Croydon Station
Police were called to London Road near West Croydon Railway Station at 6.41pm on Thursday, 18 November following reports of a large fight. Just after 7pm, a 14-year-old boy turned up at a south London hospital with stab wounds.
Victim Identified as Jermaine Cools
Despite doctors’ urgent efforts, the boy tragically died shortly after arriving. He was identified as 14-year-old Jermaine Cools. A post-mortem confirmed he died from multiple stab wounds.
