Car scam alert in Saltdean! Police are on the hunt for three crooks who tried to con a car seller by dousing the engine in oil to knock down the price.

The cheeky fraud unfolded at around 7pm on October 7th in Saltdean’s Lewes Close. Three so-called buyers showed up, pretending to be interested in a car sale – but their real plan was nasty.
Police release snap of suspects
Officers have now shared an image of the trio and want anyone who knows them to come forward immediately.
