Residents in Northfleet woke up to a nasty shock after between 10 and 20 vehicles had their tyres slashed overnight. The attacks hit Hamerton Road, Railway Street, and Station Road between 11pm on Friday, January 3, and 9.30am the next morning.

Police Warn: This Crime Hits Wallets Hard

Inspector Craig West stressed, “This isn’t petty vandalism – the repair bills could run into thousands.” He added some victims will cough up themselves as damage might not exceed insurance excesses.

Officers Urge Locals to Check CCTV and Dashcams

Police are hunting suspects and want residents to review any CCTV or dashcam footage from Friday night through Saturday morning to spot suspicious activity.
