UPDATE: Missing Woodley Teen George Tomes Found Safe and Sound
An 18-year-old Air Cadet from Woodley who vanished on Saturday night has been found safe. George Tomes’ family has confirmed he is back home and resting, getting the support he needs.
Last Seen: Woodley
George was last spotted at around 9.30pm wearing a camouflage jacket, black combat boots, and carrying a military-style camo rucksack and webbing. He stands tall at 6ft 4in, slim build, with dark brown shaved hair and striking green and hazel eyes.
Family and Police Concerned
“We were very worried for George’s welfare,” said Sgt Peter Lawman of Bracknell police. “He missed his Air Cadets Remembrance Parade on Sunday, which was out of character. If anyone saw him, we urged them to get in touch immediately.”

George’s mum asked us to pass on a huge thank you to everyone who shared the appeal and helped bring him home safe. The family are now focused on helping George work through his issues with their full support.
