Deadly Russian Missile Strikes Southern Ukraine
Tragedy struck Ukraine’s southern Mykolaiv region on Monday, as a Russian missile attack killed three people and wounded six more. The Ukrainian emergencies service and local officials confirmed the grim toll amid the chaos.
Town of Snihurivka Left in Ruins
The missile hit the town of Snihurivka, causing severe damage to multiple buildings. A fire broke out, engulfing a coffee shop, a car repair shop, and a tyre service centre. The blast also wrecked a nearby self-service car wash, leaving destruction in its wake.
Rescue and Recovery Underway
During cleanup efforts, rescuers discovered two bodies in the rubble. Mykolaiv’s governor later confirmed the death toll had reached three. Emergency teams are racing against time to assist the injured and fully assess the damage caused by the strike.
