Toddler Found Unresponsive in Stranraer: Tragedy Unfolds

A four-year-old girl was discovered unresponsive at a home in Stranraer, Dumfries and Galloway on Sunday morning. Despite frantic efforts by emergency services, she was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police and paramedics were called to Eastwood Avenue at around 6:10am after reports of the young girl in distress. She was rushed to hospital, but tragically, she died shortly after arriving.

Police Launch Unexplained Death Probe

Police Scotland confirmed an investigation has been launched to establish the cause of death. The case is currently being treated as unexplained as officers carefully piece together the events leading up to the tragedy.

“Inquiries are underway to determine the cause of death,” said a police spokesperson. “We are examining all circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.”
