Three Rescued in Dramatic Canton Flat Blaze
Emergency crews rushed to Cowbridge Road East in Cardiff’s Canton area at 10.17am after reports of a fire in a flat.
Massive Fire Response on the Scene
- South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, police, and ambulance teams arrived swiftly.
- Two fire crews from Cardiff Central, plus appliances from 1 and Roath stations, fought the blaze.
- An aerial ladder platform was deployed to tackle the fire from above.
Specialist Teams Join Rescue Efforts
A hazardous area response team, rapid response vehicle, and two road ambulances with doctors from the emergency medical retrieval and transfer service were also on site.
Three people were pulled to safety from the flat, South Wales Fire and Rescue confirmed. Details on their condition remain under wraps.
