Man Found Dead in Rubery Garden After Suspected Dog Attack

West Midlands Police have launched an urgent hunt after a man was found dead in his garden in Rubery. Two dogs suspected of attacking the man remain on the loose, sparking alarm across the community.

Missing Dogs Being Searched For

Officers discovered the man’s body early Thursday morning. Two dogs were seized at the scene, but two others – believed involved in the fatal attack – are still missing. Police have released a photo of one dog, described as an American Bulldog-type, and are also looking for a similar black dog.

Intense Police Search Underway

None of the dogs are from banned breeds, police confirm. But the force is urging locals to stay alert and report any sightings immediately. A full-scale investigation is underway with house-to-house inquiries, CCTV reviews, specialist dog units, and drones deployed to track down the animals.

“We have images of one of the dogs and are searching for another black dog. We are using every resource, including specialist dog officers and drones, to find these animals quickly,” a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.

Residents in Rubery are shocked and worried about the missing dogs, urged by police not to approach the animals if seen and to report their location immediately. The man’s identity has not yet been released as authorities continue to probe the full circumstances behind his death.
