- Head onto coastbound Heaver Court Road via the roundabout at the top of the slip road.
- Proceed along Valley Drive, then onto B261 Old Road East.
- Continue towards The Lion roundabout and join A226 eastbound towards Rochester.
- Follow signs to the A289 junction to rejoin the main route.
