Air Ambulance Scrambles to M25 Crash as Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a nasty crash on the M25 between Junction 3 and Junction 2 near Darenth. The motorway is shut in both directions after the smash.

Kent Police, fire crews from Kent Fire and Rescue, and the Air Ambulance all scrambled to the incident. The collision involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. The biker’s condition is reported as serious.

Traffic Chaos as Road Closed

Highways England warned motorists to stay inside their vehicles amid the hold-up. “Traffic is still held for serious collision, air ambulance has landed and their crew are now on scene. Please refrain from exiting your vehicle whilst in trapped traffic,” they said.

Kent Police was called at 1.30pm to the M25, near the A2 slip road going anti-clockwise following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike,” a police spokesman confirmed.
