Motorbike Rider Dies in Horror Crash with BMW on Devon’s A39
Tragedy struck on Sunday, 20 March 2022, at 12:10pm when a silver and blue Yamaha R1 motorcycle collided with a red BMW iX on the A39 near Clovelly, North Devon.
The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The BMW driver and passenger escaped unscathed but were treated for shock.
Police Launch Investigation, Appeal for Witnesses
Officers from the local force and the Alliance Roads Policing Team rushed to the scene. After forensic investigations, the road was reopened to traffic.
