Blaze Breaks Out at Maida Vale’s Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee School

Huge Fire Engulfs School Roof

A massive fire has ripped through the roof of Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee School on Kennet Road, Maida Vale. The London Fire Brigade swooped in at 1:07 PM with eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters battling the inferno.

Station Commander Hardeep Dale, leading the fight, confirmed: “The school was safely evacuated before we arrived. We’re working closely with partner agencies to support everyone affected.”

Fire crews are using two 32-metre turntable ladders as water towers to douse the flames from above.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Paramedics and police are on the ground assisting with evacuation and keeping the area secure. One woman is currently being treated at the scene for injuries sustained during the chaos.

Kennet Road and surrounding streets remain closed, causing major traffic delays. Authorities are urging locals to steer clear to help emergency teams operate faster and safer.
