Family Mourns Motorcycle Rider Adrian Caddy After Fatal A21 Crash

East Sussex biker Adrian Caddy died in a tragic collision on March 18 at 5.59pm. The crash happened on the A21 just south of Marley Lane.

Fatal Crash on A21

Adrian was heading southbound when his motorcycle struck a parked Seat Altea in a layby. Despite CPR attempts by a fellow motorcyclist who saw him in distress, and rapid emergency response, Adrian’s injuries were too severe. He sadly passed away at the scene.

Family Pays Heartfelt Tribute

“Words are difficult to express the deep sorrow and the void left by the loss of Adrian in such tragic circumstances. He will always be remembered as a loving, treasured and loyal man to his partner, a devoted father to his son, and a great friend to many. He was a beautiful man, intelligent and witty, a dreamer, and a fervent defender of the natural world who led life emphatically with his heart.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The driver of the Seat, a 46-year-old woman from Etchingham, suffered minor injuries and was treated at Conquest Hospital.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicles nearby before the collision to come forward. Dash cam footage would be especially helpful.
