Massive Fire Destroys Home in Kings Worthy
A huge blaze ripped through a detached house at 1 Close, Kings Worthy, early this morning leaving the property completely destroyed.
Fire Crews Rush In From Six Stations
Firefighters from Winchester, Eastleigh, Sutton Scotney, Andover, Fareham, and Ringwood scrambled to tackle the inferno after numerous 999 calls flooded Fire Service control.
The response included the Fire command unit and specialist HART paramedics from South Central Ambulance Services.
Neighbours Urged to Stay Safe
Locals nearby were told to keep doors and windows shut and avoid the area as crews battled the flames.
Owner Escapes Thanks to Smoke Alarm
“The owner was alerted by a smoke alarm and managed to escape unharmed,” said fire officials.
Despite their quick reaction, the house suffered 100% damage, leaving it a total loss.
