Chaos on A21: Two Trapped in Horror Crash Between Bewl and Flimwell
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a three-vehicle smash on the A21 coastbound just before 6.15pm. The collision left two people walking wounded and two trapped inside their cars.
Heroic Rescue Operation
South East Coast Ambulance Service quickly assessed the scene. A woman was helped to walk away from one of the wrecked vehicles unharmed. Meanwhile, firefighters sprang into action to free a man, believed to be in his late 30s, trapped inside another car. Using hydraulic cutters, crews released him and handed him over to Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance for urgent medical care.
Emergency Services Swarm the Scene
East Sussex Fire and Rescue sent two engines, and police also arrived amid the chaos. The A21 remains closed coastbound as a full crash investigation unfolds. Traffic delays are expected to continue for hours.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service finally cleared the scene just before 8pm after a tense and dramatic rescue.
