Radio 1’s Big Weekend Rocks Coventry with 80,000 Fans!
Radio 1’s biggest live music bash is back! From 27-29 May 2022, War Memorial Park in Coventry will welcome a staggering 80,000 fans for three days of star-studded performances. Headliners include Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX, KSI, Calvin Harris, and Anne-Marie.

Artists Pumped to Hit Coventry Stage
Pa Salieu said, “Excited to be finally performing in my home town Coventry as part of Radio 1’s Big Weekend. I know the Coventry crowd will do our city proud and show all the other artists the energy of the Midlands.”

Big Weekend Returns to the Field – And It’s Bigger Than Ever
After a two-year break, Radio 1’s Big Weekend returns to its festival roots. As part of BBC’s Centenary celebrations, the event kicks off the UK festival season and shines a spotlight on Coventry during its year as UK City of Culture.
The event gives a huge boost to the local economy and brings major artists to cities that usually miss out on big festivals. The BBC is teaming up with Coventry City Council to make sure this year’s Big Weekend is one to remember!
