Authorities are probing a video circulating online overnight. In it, a group claims to have targeted the nearby Embassy of Israel with drones carrying dangerous substances. Police confirmed the embassy has not been attacked, but are assessing whether the video links to the items found in Kensington Gardens.

“We are aware of a video shared online overnight in which a group claim to have targeted the nearby Embassy of Israel with drones carrying dangerous substances,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson. “While we can confirm that the embassy has not been attacked, we are carrying out urgent enquiries to determine the authenticity of the video and to identify any potential link between it and the items discarded in Kensington Gardens.”

Public Safety Reassured

Police say there is no increased risk to public safety at present. The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to ensure the area is secure.
