London Fire Brigade Joins Fight Against Massive North Yorkshire Moorland Blaze
The London Fire Brigade has ramped up efforts to tackle a gigantic wildfire raging across Langdale Moor. This fierce fire has already devoured a staggering 10 square miles of moorland — one of the largest blazes seen in recent years.
Heavy Firefighting Force Deployed
On Friday, the LFB confirmed it sent 27 firefighters, five senior officers, five fire engines, and a specialist wildfire vehicle to bolster crews battling the inferno. They joined teams from across the UK, mobilised under national resilience plans to keep the fire from spreading even further.
