Six-Car Smash Shuts Key Surrey Route – Woman Trapped
Surrey Police have slammed shut a major road after a massive six-vehicle crash tonight. Emergency teams raced to the scene, with fire crews from Fareham and Guildford using heavy-duty cutters to free a woman trapped inside one of the wrecked cars.
Chaos on the A331 Commute
The smash happened just before 8pm on the busy A331 between Ash and Aldershot, a vital commuter route. Police enforced a full road closure shortly after 8.30pm, blocking off the stretch to keep the scene safe.
Air Ambulance Touches Down
The Surrey Air Ambulance was scrambled and landed at Aldershot Park as ground crews and the Hazardous Area Response Team treated several injured people. Surrey Fire and Rescue confirmed multiple units are on site, working closely with police and paramedics to manage the aftermath.
