Missing 82-Year-Old in Maidstone: Police Hunt for Dashcam Clues
Kent officers are on high alert as they launch a major search for Edward Cheesman, an 82-year-old man missing from Maidstone.
Last Seen in Downswood
Edward was last spotted in the Deringwood Drive area of Downswood on the afternoon of Thursday, 17 November 2022. The slim pensioner stands 5ft 11in tall with short grey hair. He wears glasses but may not have had them on when he disappeared.
He was last seen wearing a blue fleece with a full-length zip, dark blue jeans, and black shoes.
Police Beg for Dashcam Footage and Sightings
“We are very concerned for Edward’s welfare,” said Inspector Sarah Stevenson. “We’re appealing to anyone with dashcam footage from Deringwood Drive between 3pm and 7.30pm on 17 November to check their clips. Edward might be in them.”
She urged the public to also check gardens and outbuildings in Downswood and surrounding areas for any sign of Edward.
