Man in 50s Killed in Early Morning A20 Crash

A serious collision on the A20 at Farningham has claimed the life of a man in his 50s. The fatal crash happened at 4.28am on Thursday, 6 August 2020, involving a lorry and a pedestrian.

Lorry Driver Arrested on Dangerous Driving Charges

The pedestrian died at the scene. Police have arrested the lorry driver, a man in his 40s, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody as investigations continue.

The A20 is currently closed while officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit carry out their inquiries. They urge anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
