Pizza Rider Brutally Attacked by Thugs in Gosport Underpass
A teenage pizza delivery rider was viciously attacked by four grown men while doing his rounds in Fareham. The shocking incident occurred on Sunday, 6th August 2017, around 8pm, in The Gillies subway.
Domino’s Delivery Rider Targeted on Electric Bike
The 17-year-old was delivering pizzas on one of Domino’s new electric bikes when the shocking assault unfolded. Previously, he had pizzas stolen from him while on duty. But things took a darker turn when he was confronted in the underpass by four men accusing him of riding a moped on the pedestrian path.
CCTV Footage Fails to Capture the Attack
Hampshire Police reviewed CCTV footage from the scene, but it only covers the subway entrances — not the attack itself. The images they have of the suspects are unclear, leaving the investigation stalled.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Authorities are appealing to anyone who was near The Gillies subway around 8pm last Sunday to step forward and help. If you have information on the group or the assault, contact Hampshire Police on 101 immediately.
