Wrong-Way Subaru Causes Chaos on M3 in Early Hours
Police were called just after 1.30am on 4 July after reports of a blue Subaru Impreza hurtling southbound on the northbound M3 between junctions 9 and 11.
The driver was spotted speeding with full beams and hazard lights blazing, sparking serious safety fears.
Driver Arrested After Dangerous Driving Stunt
Officers found the car parked near the south side of junction 9. A 50-year-old man from southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving. He’s currently in custody.
Dash Cam Footage Needed to Crack Case
Police want to hear from anyone who was on the M3 at the time or has dash cam footage showing the rogue Subaru. They’re especially keen to get the vehicle’s registration details.
