Police Car Seized from Chippenham Car Park in Nerve Agent Probe

The military swooped on a Chippenham car park today, hauling away a police car linked to the ongoing nerve agent investigation in south Wiltshire.

Vehicle Removed from Monkton Park

Wiltshire Police confirmed they were on-site at Monkton Park this morning to remove the vehicle connected to the Amesbury nerve agent case.

A spokesperson said:

“We arranged transportation of a car from Monkton Park in Chippenham related to the ongoing incident in Amesbury.

The public should not be alarmed and there’s no risk to any visitors.

Those handling the removal have specialist training for safely removing vehicles.

There’s no cordon in place, and once the vehicle is gone, the police will leave and the site will reopen as normal.”

No Risk to Public, Officials Stress

Despite the serious nature of the nerve agent case, authorities reassured locals there is no danger at the site. Visitors to Monkton Park can carry on as usual.

Part of Larger Amesbury Investigation

The seized police car is a piece of the wider probe into the Amesbury nerve agent incident, which has kept south Wiltshire on high alert.
