Rampion Wind Farm Cuts Turbine Count but Boosts Power Claim
The Rampion wind farm off the West Sussex coast is shaking things up. The owners, RWE, have slashed the planned turbines from 116 down to 90. Yet, they claim Rampion Two will still generate enough electricity to power over one million homes.

Construction Impact to Be Temporary, Say Developers
Chris Tomlinson, Rampion 2’s development and stakeholder manager, insists disruption will be short-lived. “The electricity cable installation from the wind farm to the new electricity substation would be a temporary impact during construction, as all cables would be buried underground,” he explained.
