Major Crash Closes Key Road Into Yarmouth
Police shut the A3054 Bouldnor Road near Cranmore this afternoon after a three-vehicle smash. The crash happened between Shalfleet and Thorley, bringing traffic to a standstill.

The busy main road has been closed at the 1 and Groom pub. Drivers are being forced to take detours through Thorley Village and Hill Place Lane. A school coach is stuck in the gridlock but wasn’t involved in the crash.

- Another Black vehicle
Armed Roads Policing officers are managing the scene. Two ambulances from Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and an incident officer are treating those hurt. Thankfully, no one is trapped inside any vehicle.
Child Among Those Treated
Paramedics are checking over everyone involved, including a young child. Southern Vectis warned local bus services are disrupted. Route 7 is operating on a revised timetable and detour due to the closure.
